TenFu's Whimsical Tea Pot
TenFu's Whimsical Tea Pot is made from green clay, a rare color for tea pots, and fired at a higher temperature for high quality and is ideal for serving semi-fermented teas such as Oolong, King's, Pouchong, and Ti Kuan Yin. This Whimsical Tea Pot has an interesting swirl design on the side and on the handle of the lid. It also stands steadily but with a tilted appearance. This tea pot is about 6 inches (15 cm) in length, 3.5 inches (9 cm) in width, and 3.5 inches (9 cm) in height. It holds about 7.5 fluid ounces (222 ml) and comes in an attractive satin lined box.
This teapot has an inner convex sieve which helps to prevent tea leaves from blocking the flow of the tea through the spout. Yixing tea pots such as this one have a special characteristic.
