
Fujian Black Tea
Description
Fujian Black Tea from the Fujian province in China has a slighty different character from black teas of other Asian areas. Tea brewed from these tea leaves has a dark reddish brown color with a lemon like aroma. The taste is lightly pleasantly sweet with an almost a citrus like taste. The aftertaste is brief and clean.
The water used to steep this tea should be at the boiling point, 212°F (100°C). Use about 2 teaspoons (3 grams) of tea leaves for about every 5 ounces (150 milliliters) of water.
